The Dragon Ball Z: Super - Music Collection is composed of four CDs, as with the previous Dragon Ball Kai release. Each CD has its own introductory video theme of the respective character in the series that it features, including music or sound effects that play in the background, as well as a clip from the TV series. The album's back case lists the music on each CD by means of song title, and is split into two sections: one listing the full-length versions of the songs on each disc, with the addition of the character's theme at the beginning or end of each one. The second section of the back case gives the names of the shorter versions of the songs, such as the ending theme of Battle of Gods. In addition to the three standard arrangement styles of the songs, there are three bonus tracks on each disc: the first disc features a number of cover songs by various artists, two of which are performed in the arrangement style of those songs (one of which is a remix), and the third covers Dragon Ball with the original Dragon Ball Z theme song.
